Hi, I'm Coach Mick

I'm a Myotherapist and Running Technique Specialist who believes that running should be a skill - not a struggle. I created First Steps to 5km to help beginners build confidence and avoid the injuires that stop so many people before they even get started.

The program is more than just running - it's a reset for how your body moves, feels, and performs.

FAQs

What if i've never run before?

Perfect. This program was made for you. We start slow and build gradually - with walking, mobility, and strength to support the journey.

How much time do I need each week?

The sessions are short and manageable. You'll run 3 times per week, with each session taking between 30-45 minutes max.

Do I need any equipment?

Just a pair of running shoes and a willingness to move. Added benefits will be a mobility ball, foam roller, and powerbands.

Can I repeat the program when I'm done?

Absolutely. Many people repeat it to refine their form, and run the 5km even faster the second time around. But, also included in your subscription is access to other running programs ranging from 5km to Ultra marathons, from beginner to elite.
